This house, totally surrounded by trees, reaches towards 3 corners of the site, maximizing the volume of the primary building. To break up the massing and create more dynamic spaces, the skin of the building facade ‘folds’, compresses and expands to create openings, courtyards, communal outdoor spaces, among other programs. This maneuver also allows an abundance of natural light and ventilation into the more central spaces of the house.
